As we got close to Enghelab square we found all the roads ending inthe square were blocked from a blocks away. We parked and went towardsthe square ofcourse, all the streets were filled with basijis and afew, municipal workers! with bats and helmets,poor guys did not wantanything to do with this. As we walked west towrds Azadi, we wereattacked by a group of "Robocups". A freind of mine, joe got a bat inhis back and I lost the other 2, later finding out that one of themhas dislocated his arm while beaten by the cups. Me and my"unlost"friend walked further down and there was a street fight goingon between people and the armed militia. We have captured a few blocksand every body were trying to hold their inter section from basijcoming fro the south. Through out the entire time tear gas was flyingtowards us, from all directions. We left the seen and went furthernorth to find out, that all the intersections were blocked, peoplewere fighting with them on all intersections, streets and allysaround the square. They burnt 2 buses near a main intersection.Traffic was backed up for miles and people were honking horns all overthe place. As we were walking home we got attacked by another groupand my poor friend got another one in the leg.
